The Lemon hoof boot has the same construction as the black hoof boots - it also has a residual light amplification effect and is therefore easier to see at dusk and in poor visibility conditions.

While the SG covers almost all hoof shapes, the SG-L is specifically designed for horses with slightly narrower, longer hooves, pronounced bulbs, and high heels. The SG-L Boot Kit includes two extension sets made of the same 100% recyclable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) as the hoof boot itself. The extensions can be easily exchanged and adjusted to the individual hoof, bulb, and heel shape.


Swiss Galoppers hoof boots are manufactured in Lupfig, Switzerland, from 100% recyclable plastic. The sole profile is extremely abrasion-resistant and has a lifespan of up to 2,000 riding kilometers. The flexible, shock-absorbing insole is gentle on the joints and prevents the hoof boot from twisting. The closure strap made of particularly durable hook-and-loop fasteners allows for quick and easy on and off.


The SG-L is the ideal hoof boot for year-round use. The SG-L Boot Kit includes:

  • A pair of SG-L hoof boots
  • A pair of fastening straps
  • A pair of fetlock straps with neoprene pad
  • A pair of heel protection 
  • 4 extensions including installation tools. The SG-L and SG-LX kits for sizes 3-6 contain 50mm and 60mm extensions, the 60mm extension is pre-assembled. The SG-L and SG-LX kits for sizes 7-8 contain 60mm and 70mm extensions, the 70mm extension is pre-assembled.


For horses with particularly sensitive pasterns, we recommend the Swiss Galoppers pastern protector/gaiter (not included in the SG-L Summer Boot Kit). For winter (snow/ice), we recommend the SG-LX Winter Boot Kit , which includes spikes.
