The SG-LX Winter Boot is pre-assembled with six spikes.
The SG-LX with its Spikes, which are made of galvanized steel, specially developed for our hoof boots, offers optimal grip on ice, snow or even on muddy and deep ground conditions.
- The spikes do not cause any pressure points, thus the shock-absorbing and joint-friendly insole remains completely intact.
The SG-LX is especially suitable for horses with slightly narrower, longer hooves, pronounced balls and high heels. The SG-LX Winter Boot Kit contains an extension set:
- The connectors are made of the same 100% recyclable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) as the hoof boot itself.
- The connectors can be easily exchanged and adapted to the individual hoof, ball and heel shape.
The SG-LX Winter Boot Kit includes a pair of:
- SG-LX Winter Hoof Boots in black, including six pre-mounted spikes
- Fastening straps with Swiss Galoppers lettering
- Fetlock straps with a soft, black neoprene pad
- Comfortable heel protection in black
- Connectors including assembly tools.
The SG-LX Winter Boot Kit in the sizes 3 to 6 contains 50 mm and 60 mm connectors. The 60 mm connector is pre-assembled.
In the sizes 7 and 9, the SG-LX Winter Boot Kit contains 60 mm and 70 mm connectors. The 70 mm connector is pre-assembled.

- For horses with particularly sensitive pasterns, we recommend the Swiss Galoppers Fetlock Protector/ Gaiter (not included in the SG-LX Winter Boot Kit).
Swiss Galoppers are made in Lupfig, Switzerland from 100% recyclable plastic. The sole profile is extremely abrasion-resistant and has a lifespan of up to 2,000 riding kilometers.
The flexible, shock-absorbing insole is gentle on the joints and prevents the hoof boot from turning on the hoof. The fastening strap made of particularly durable velcro makes it easy and quick to put on and take off.
