The SG-X Winter Boot is pre-assembled with six galvanized steel spikes specially developed for our hoof boots and offers optimal grip on ice, snow, or even muddy and deep ground conditions.
The shock-absorbing and joint-protecting insole remains completely intact, and the spikes do not cause any pressure points. The SG-X covers almost all hoof shapes.
Swiss Galoppers hoof boots are manufactured in Lupfig, Switzerland, from 100% recyclable plastic. The sole profile is extremely abrasion-resistant and has a lifespan of up to 2,000 riding kilometers. The flexible, shock-absorbing insole is gentle on the joints and prevents the hoof boot from twisting. The closure strap made of particularly durable hook-and-loop fasteners allows for quick and easy on and off.
The SG-X Winter Boot Kit includes:
- One pair of SG-X winter hoof boots including six pre-mounted spikes
- A pair of fastening straps
- A pair of fetlock straps with neoprene pad
- A pair of heel protection
For horses with particularly sensitive pasterns, we recommend the Swiss Galoppers pastern protector/gaiter (not included in the SG-X Winter Boot Kit).
For horses with slightly narrow, longer hooves, pronounced pads and high heels, we recommend the SG-LX winter boot including spikes.
